Mis compulsiones salen a la luz frecuentemente, pero más cuando escucho alguna canción que me gusta, la puedo oír una y otra vez sin cansarme. Una de mis canciones favoritas por Klaxons ‘Echoes’, es mi nueva obsesión. Simplemente me encanta su sonido y voces peculiares y sus letras.

An obsession, music, I’m terrible when it comes to music I like. I can listen to the same song, over and over, and don’t get tired of it. This phrase is part of a song by Klaxons ‘Echoes’ simply love it, their unique sound and voices and the lyrics.

Aprovechando que el día estaba cálido y el aire frío había cedido un poco y mientras esperaba a que me entregaran unos papeles, me di una vuelta al convento de Cholula que está en el centro. Este lugar siempre me ha gustado porque tiene muchas texturas y detalles en la piedra y en las puertas y no hay mucha gente así que con libertad puedo ponerme a experimentar un rato.

While waiting for some documents and taking advantage that the cold air is gone, I visited this old convent in Cholula. I like this place because it is quiet and has beautiful doors and texture along the walls of the two churches there.

Hay algo en las mañanas de domingo que me hacen sentir tranquila, aunque no hago cosas distintas cada semana, mi rutina es casi invariable, levantarme a alimentar a los perros, salir al patio y desayunar. El encanto de los domingos es que me olvido de todo, el maquillaje, el trabajo y cualquier otra cosa que haya quedado inconclusa.

There is something about sunday mornings that makes me feel at ease. I usually do the same things every week, wake up to feed the dogs, go outside and have breakfast. On sundays I forget about make up, work and any other thing that it’s unfinished.

Yo al menos guardo muchos recuerditos de cuando estaba en la escuela y cada vez que voy a casa me encanta registrar de nuevo las cajas con cosas que me recuerdan esa época, ahora mientras mi hermana acomodaba sus barbies (si aún existen y en muy buena condición) encontró este adorno que la verdad me gusta mucho, se me hace tan representativo de cuando iba a la escuela. No recuerdo quien me lo dio, pero lo conservo con mucho cariño.

I like to keep little things that remind me of something, like letters and gifts from my school days. Rambling through my room my sister found this thingy, I don’t know who gave it to me, but I like it, the two dolls are so adorable and kitsch!
